The INDEA 2026 International Excellence Awards are established to recognize and celebrate outstanding contributions across research, innovation, technology, and global collaboration. These awards aim to honor individuals, researchers, academicians, industry professionals, and institutions who have demonstrated exceptional achievements, impactful research, and visionary leadership in their respective domains.
Designed as a prestigious platform, the awards bring together global talent and acknowledge excellence across diverse categories, including research, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, emerging technologies, industry innovation, and social impact. The initiative seeks to promote high-quality work, encourage interdisciplinary collaboration, and inspire the next generation of innovators and thought leaders.
By recognizing excellence at an international level, the INDEA Awards aim to foster a culture of innovation, integrity, and impactful contributions toward advancing science, technology, and society. The awards will be held in conjunction with the International Conference on Next Generation Data Engineering and Analytics (INDEA-2026) organized by University of Salford, Manchester, UK on 21st - 22nd August 2026.
1. Call for Nominations
Open to individuals, teams, higher education institutions, research labs, incubators, and innovation hubs.
Nominations may be submitted through:
- Self-nomination
- Peer professionals
- Institutional leadership
- INDEA Awards Panel members
2. Initial Screening (7-10 Days)
All applications will be reviewed for:
- Eligibility
- Completeness
- Alignment with award categories
Incomplete or non-relevant submissions will not be considered for further evaluation.
3. Domain Expert Evaluation (20-25 Days)
Independent evaluation is based on weighted review criteria focused on innovation, impact, viability, collaboration, inclusion, and ethics.
4. Final Review & Ratification
- Top-performing nominations (approximately top 5%) will undergo final evaluation
- Final decisions will be ratified by the INDEA Awards Committee
- The committee's decision will be final and binding

Final Review
Top-performing nominations, approximately the top 5%, move to final evaluation and ratification by the INDEA Awards Committee.
